Open Doorway To communicate with more than words: Communication is easy in today’s world of emails, web sites, texts and letters, these ways of communication are, however, are not the best of ways for creating understanding. Although Ravening makes use of these tools, there are better ways of communication, ways that have been in place long before post boxes or PC’s made distance irrelevant, the most recent ways are not always the best when understanding is a first priority. A more effective way of communication is that of face to face, where body language, facial expressions, the ability to correct wrong perceptions, to begin to ‘know’ what lies behind the written word begins to be of use. Meanings of written words can either be understood or perceived, for understanding to be in place a certain amount of knowledge needs to be in place first, to take a perception from written words often means that understanding is not the result. It is to assist proper communication that Family Ravening offer an opportunity to meet face to face with Family. Whether you are contemplating walking with Family as a seeker thus taking advantage of education it offers, or are curious about Family Ravening, then one of its open weekends will give an opportunity to ask questions, meet with some of Family and to ‘see’ with more than eyes what lies behind its website and its words. Education: It is important to understand that although Ravening will answer questions, it gives no assurance that all questions will be answered, and retains the right to refuse to answer any question that will violate its ethos and Oaths. Attendance makes no demands on either Family or those that attend to accept or deny entry into Family or acceptance of its ways, this is important as it is a foundation that must be understood by all concerned.
